Ameya360:YAGEO Reported 2022 December Consolidated Sales of NT$ 9.001 Billion
YAGEO Corporation announced today its 2022 December consolidated sales of NT$ 9.001 billion, down 10.0% m-o-m but up 9.5% y-o-y, respectively. The fourth quarter sales totaled NT$ 28.809 billion, down 6.4% q-o-q but up 12.1% y-o-y, respectively. The full year consolidated sales reached NT$ 121.069 billion, up 13.6% y-o-y.
December’s consolidated sales was lower than previous month mainly attributed to less working days due to annual inventory counting and reduced shipments from customers in Americas and Europe during holiday season.
Moving forward to the first quarter, the company's premium business, which accounts a higher proportion of the total revenue, maintains steady order momentum, while the standard products' inventory adjustment continues. In addition, with fewer working days due to Lunar New Year holiday in late January, the macro uncertainties such as pandemic outbreak and lockdowns in China, rising inflation, and international conflicts, YAGEO will stay cautiously optimistic to its sales and operation outlook.
