一、冷却液温度传感器工作原理
发动机冷却液温度传感器细长的头部与冷却液接触，它的内部装有负温度系数的热敏电阻。当发动机冷却液温度逐渐升高时，热敏电阻的阻值将逐渐下降，相反则增大，结果发动机冷却液温度发生变化时传感器的输出电压也相应变化。ECU接收冷却液温度传感器传来的信号后，对发动机的喷油时间和点火时间进行修正。
二、冷却水温度传感器的检测
1、将冷却液温度传感器装复到发动机上，将其导线连接器插好。
2、当点火开关置于“ON”位置时，水温传感器导线连接器“ THW”端子或ECU连接器“ THW”端子与 E2 间应有输出电压信号，或者用万用表测量冷却液温度传感器的信号线（棕/蓝线，1号)与搭铁线（3号线，蓝色）之间的电压，标准值应为0.1～0.8 V，随着温度的升高，所测得的电压值应逐渐下降。
