压敏电阻器

压敏电阻器是一种限压型保护器件。利用压敏电阻的非线性特性,当过电压出现在压敏电阻的两极间，压敏电阻可以将电压钳位到一个相对固定的电压值，从而实现对后级路的保护。压敏电阻的主要参数有:压敏电压、通流容量、结电容和响应时间等。

压敏电阻器是以氧化锌为主要材料的对电压敏感的电阻器，它在一定的电压范围内电阻值随电压而改变。压敏电阻器的最大特点是当加在它上面的电压低于它的阈值U时，流过它的电流极小(电阻值大);当电压超过U时，流过它的电流激增(电阻值变小)。利用这一功能，可以抑制电路中经常出现的异常过电压，保护电路免受过电压的损害。

1.压敏电阻器的类型

压敏电阻器在电路中主要起保护作用。根据压敏电阻器承受的异常过电压特性的不同,可将压敏电阻器区分为浪涌抑制型、高功率型和高能型三类。

(1)浪涌抑制型:指用于抑制雷电过电压和操作过电压等瞬态过电压的压敏电阻器。这种瞬态过电压的出现是随机的、非周期的,电流电压的峰值可能很大。绝大多数压敏电阻都属于这一类。

(2)高功率型:指用于吸收周期出现的连续脉冲群的压敏电阻器。例如，并联在开关电源变换器上的压敏电阻器,其冲击电压周期出现,且周期可知，能量一般可以计算出来，电压的峰值并不大，但因出现的频率高,其平均功率相当大。

(3)高能型:指用于吸收发电机励磁线圈、起重电磁铁线圈等大型电感线圈中的磁能的压敏电阻器,对这类应用,主要技术指标是能量吸收能力。

2.压敏电阻器的典型应用实例

压敏电阻Rv跨接在电源变压器的初级，正常情况下由于Rv的阻值很大，对电路无影响。当电源输人端一旦出现超过临界的过高电压时 Rv阻值急剧减小，电流剧增,使熔丝FU熔断,保护电路不被损坏。
