苹果收购一家德国公司,这是为未来AR眼镜布局?

苹果又悄悄开始为未来产品布局了，这次它们收购了一家小型德国公司，该公司擅长眼部追踪技术。

这家名为SensoMotoric Instruments的德国公司创立于1991年，它们开发了一系列眼部追踪硬件和软件，其中最著名的是一副眼镜。据悉，该眼镜实时采样率高达120Hz。此外，该公司还注册了eyetracking－glasses．com的域名，并宣称自家眼部追踪技术的用户已超过10万人。

对于VR／AR行业，眼部追踪技术是一项关键技术，有了它才能实现真正的沉浸式体验。除了成为用户界面的重要部分，眼部追踪技术还能减小设备的运算压力并增强虚拟物体的真实性。

去年，谷歌（微博）买下了另一家专攻眼部追踪技术的公司Eyefluence，而拿到了巨额投资的AR新创公司Magic Leap也在自家的原型产品中用到了眼部追踪技术。

虽然已显露出在AR领域的巨大野心，但一向神秘的苹果从未透露自己是否在开发AR头戴设备。

不过，库克对于AR的爱显然很深，他曾多次在公开场合称赞该技术。“我相信未来人们每天都会用到AR，它会像一日三餐一样必不可少。”库克去年接受采访时说道。

在此之前，苹果还买了许多AR／VR公司，其中包括：AR软件公司Metaio，3D传感器公司Primesense，面部测绘公司Faceshift，3D动作追踪公司FlyBy Media等。
