　　近日，全球移动通信系统协会 GSMA 发表声明表示，基于中国政府最近宣布的关于暂停举办大型聚集性展会和展览的通知以及对全球新冠病毒疫情的担忧，旅行限制和其他相关情况，将取消举办原定于 2020 年 6 月 30 日 -7 月 2 日举行的 2020 年世界移动通信大会(上海)活动。

　　此外，GSMA 将会考虑在 2020 下半年举办区域性的会议活动，并将与相关政府和卫生部门沟通和协调合适的时间与场地。GSMA 期待今年继续与产业合作，并为 2021 MWC 上海开始准备。

　　据了解，自从在中国举办第一届世界移动大会以来，GSMA 成功地为全球产业、政府、部长、政策制定者、运营商和广大生态链的行业领袖们提供了交流平台。MWC 上海也成长为一个为期三天的国际展会并吸引了来自产业和广泛的垂直行业的高管和合作伙伴们。

　　受今年新冠肺炎的影响，MWC 主办方 GSMA 在今年 2 月 13 日也发表声明称，基于对巴塞罗那市和主办国家西班牙的安全与健康环境负责任考虑，决定取消举办 MWC 巴塞罗那 2020。

　　这是全球最大通信峰会，今年又是 5G 大规模商用元年。在 GSMA 取消后，原本计划在巴塞罗那展发布 5G 新品的通信设备商和手机厂商，如华为、中兴、爱立信、小米、OPPO、vivo 等在今年二月和三月纷纷采取线上直播，“云”发布 5G 新产品和解决方案。
