　　据了解，经过几个月的谈判，特斯拉 CEO 埃隆·马斯克(Elon Musk)于 8 月底前往上海，并与宁德时代董事长曾毓群会晤了约 40 分钟，两家公司随后达成了一项不具约束力的交易。不过，知情人士也说，尽管最终的正式协议可能在 2020 年中签署，但不排除最终协议落空的可能。

　　电池构成了电动汽车成本的主要部分，这意味着与顶级汽车制造商的长期供应协议规模很容易达到数十亿美元。中国制造的特斯拉 Model 3 的起价约为 5 万美元，比蔚来等最畅销的 ES6 车型价格更低。
