台积电接高通紧急订单，高通高端5G芯片供应紧张有望缓解

如今，缺芯已经从汽车行业蔓延至智能手机领域，手机芯片供应商高通也出现了供货紧张的情况。近日，据业内人士透露，台积电已同意为高通加急生产一批高端5G芯片订单，预计最晚第三季度交货。

 

高通芯片紧缺的消息，在3月就已经出现了，并且高通现任COO克里斯蒂亚诺·阿蒙在采访中表示：如果问他是什么使他彻夜难眠，那就是半导体行业的供应危机。

 

目前，台积电的芯片产能其实也是不够的，也没有余力承受更多订单，可能是台积电为了巩固双方在业务上的联系，同意接收了高通的紧急订单。

 

业内人士指出，尽管高通一直在台积电和其他代工厂之间转换订单，但台积电仍然愿意接受高通的紧急订单，原因在于高通在全球移动解决方案中处于领先地位。

 

“这一决定符合台积电的既定政策，即与那些可以提供具有巨大销售潜力的创新产品的客户合作，从而在终端市场上获得最大收益并保持长期增长的客户合作。”业内人士补充说道。

 

据悉，高通先前通知其客户，由于生产问题，部分芯片的交货时间可能会延长到30周以上。业内人士称，台积电提供的新产能支持可以使高通有效地缩短其芯片的交货时间，并帮助其在下半年重新夺得已失去的市场份额。
